The Problem
Unlike humans, who have well-developed calf muscles, horses only have sinewy extensions towards the hoof.
The advantage: rapid acceleration for flight behavior – the disadvantage: the lack of a muscle pump means metabolic waste products are transported back to the heart much slower. This transport occurs via the lymphatic system, which runs parallel to the circulatory system.

Closer to the heart, the lymph then drains into the veins. If the lymphatic system is not fully functional, proteins, for example, cannot be transported away, and tissue hardening develops. Our sport horses are primarily kept in stables.
The consequence: natural metabolism is hindered. Increased standing thus promotes diseases and leads to injuries. The horse regenerates more slowly, and structures such as muscles, ligaments, and tendons are more susceptible.

Scope of delivery: Two stockings and two compression boots for your horse's front legs, as well as a wash and storage bag.

Care instructions: Machine washable in the included wash bag at a maximum of 30 °C. Not suitable for tumble drying. The hook-and-loop fasteners of the boots must be securely closed before washing to prevent damage to the fabric.
